Call for abstracts announced for the 1st Annual NanoScientific Symposium on Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM). The NanoScientific Symposium on SPM will be held at the Faculty of Chemistry Auditorium “E” Building at UNAM Campus Coyoacan in Mexico City MX , October 3-4, 2019. Abstracts are now being accepted for attendees who wish to demonstrate their work in the form of an oral or poster presentation until July 30st, 2019.

The 2-day NanoScientific Symposium on SPM will cover applications in nanomaterials and nanoelectronics, polymers and composites, magnetic, photonics, semiconductor and MEMS process and applications, analytical chemistry, biology, and biomedicine. It will also feature a live demo and workshop on Atomic Force Microscopes (AFM) at the Park NX10 in the Unit of Support Services for Research and Industry (USAII).

This is a unique source for researchers who are looking for the most advanced developments in scanning probe microscopy for semiconductor metrology, materials research, analytical chemistry and life science research. It is located at Chemistry Faculty , “H” Building Mario Molina, home to USAII, a fully-integrated research, development, and educational facility that provides analytical services that require specialized instrumentation, adapted to the needs of the research carried out in the Faculty of Chemistry and the country, and develops methodological research in the analytical techniques of its competence to improve and extend the quality of its services that offers technical analytics the "next generation" for science and industry.
