The Accurion i4 is ideal for isolating high-resolution measurement equipment from building vibrations and other disturbances, while providing active compensation in all six degrees of freedom. The isolation effect starts at 0.6 Hz, achieving the maximum performance of -40 dB at 10 Hz, where 99.0% of the vibration is isolated. In addition to the extremely short settling time, the lack of low-frequency resonance proves a major advantage, whereas passive isolators amplify vibrations instead of isolating them.
Functionality reduced to the max: Accurion i4 Series
Besides the low-profile design, the system features straightforward handling for an easy operation. The control panel of the i4 is self-explanatory and the entire system is controlled by only three buttons. No manual adjusting or tuning is required which enables the user to completely focus on the application. Whereas pneumatic systems operate with compressed air supply, all you need with the i4 is a power socket.
The Accurion i4 provides effective vibration isolation at low frequencies without the natural low-frequency resonance characteristic of passive isolators. Vibration transmission is reduced by 94.4% above 5 Hz and 99.0% above 10 Hz, helping to maintain stable conditions for sensitive measurements.
Active compensation operates from 0.6 to 200 Hz. At higher frequencies, the passive isolation characteristics of the spring-supported platform dominate, extending vibration isolation beyond the active control range.
