Suspended TMDC Monolayer
A suspended monolayer Transition Metal Dichalcogenide (TMDC) with a thickness of 6–7 Å exhibits high charge-carrier mobility and strong spin–orbit coupling, but is extremely fragile.
Non-contact AFM enables stable, non-destructive imaging of this delicate membrane without mechanical damage or deformation.
