Join us for a webinar to learn about one of the cutting-edge applications of nanoscientific research:

Graphene Based
Nanomaterials and Films

Join us as we begin a new series of lectures featuring materials sciences expert Professor Rigoberto Advincula of Case Western Reserve University! With considerable expertise in the design, synthesis and characterization of new polymers and nanoscale materials, Prof. Advincula has designed a series of lectures in order to share the latest developments in nanomaterials research in a variety of applications and fields.

In this presentation, Prof. Advincula introduces us to new classes of additives and filler materials that have applications similar to those observed with carbon nanotubes and clays. One of the most versatile of these new classes involve materials using graphene oxide (GO) that can be readily prepared by oxidative exfoliation methods.

Pre-requisite: Appreciation of nanocomposites and additives in formulations is preferred but not required.
