Park Systems is proud to announce that it will be joining the Pacific Northwest Microscopy Society (PNMS) Symposium to be held from November 3-4, 2016! Stop by Portland, OR and visit the Symposium as it unfolds at both the Shriners Hospitals for Children and Oregon Health & Science University. Park Systems will be on hand to discuss your nanocharacterization needs in-person at the event's vendor area.

This year's Symposium features two keynote speakers. On Thursday, November 3, Dr. Joshua Vaughan of the University of Washington will deliver a presentation titled "Expansion Microscopy" detailing a technique designed to expand a living cell's interior to bring it into view for analysis. On Friday, November 4, Dr. Ketan Paranjape of Intel will open the final day of the event by presenting "Enabling Technology. Leveraging Data. Transforming Precision Medicine".

About PNMS:

This Society is organized exclusively as a scientific and educational organization whose purposes are:

(a) To advance the knowledge of the theory and applications of electron microscopy and associated techniques, and to aid in the communication of results obtained by their usage both in physical and biological sciences.

(b) To establish a non-profit Society interdisciplinary in nature, which shall actively promote fellowship, exchange of ideas and a sense of community among its members.

(c) To pursue such other educational and scientific purposes as its Executive Council may determine.
