Park Systems is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2nd International Conference on Nanogenerators and Piezotronics (NGPT 2014) being held from June 9th to 11th, 2014 at the Global Learning Center of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
NGPT 2014 is focused on presenting and discussing the latest achievements in research involving scavenging mechanical energy from the environment using nanogenerators—novel self-sufficient power sources that are small, flexible, integrable, and biocompatible. Academic discourse will also be focused on emerging trends in the interdisciplinary areas of piezotronics, ferroelectric, dielectric, and semiconductor materials.

AboutNGPT 2014:
The international conference on nanogenerators and piezotronics (NGPT) aims at fundamental understandings and practical development of the nanoscale mechanical energy conversion materials and systems, and the coupling effect between piezoelectric polarization and semiconductor behaviors and functionalities. Abstracts on theoretical and experimental study of piezoelectric and ferroelectric nanomaterial development; systematic design and optimization of nanogenerators; coupling effect between piezoelectric or ferroelectric polarization and semiconductor properties (including electronic band structure, diodes, optoelectronics, photovoltaics, thermoelectrics, catalysts, photoelectrochemistry, etc.) are particularly welcome.
