NMC2014

Park Systems is a proud official sponsor of the 11th Annual International Workshop On Nanomechanical Sensing (NMC 2014) in Madrid, Spain from April 30th to May 2nd, 2014.

Come visit us to learn more about Park XE-Bio, a powerful 3-in-1 nanoscience research tool that uniquely combines single live cell imaging and Scanning Ion Conductance Microscopy (SICM) with True Non-Contact mode AFM and inverted optical microscope on the same platform.  These advances of convergence in instrumentation will be utilized in various kinds of biomedical research and become a new driving force for biophysics and nanobioscience..

More information about the Park XE-Bio as well as the other products will be available at Park Systems’ booth.

l  Date : April 30 – May 2, 2014

l  Park’s Booth : #1

Dr. Sang-joon Cho, Senior Director of Research & Development of Park Systems, will give an oral presentation at the 11th Annual International Workshop On Nanomechanical Sensing (NMC 2014).

His presentation, entitled "The Study of Cell to Cell Interaction using Nanomechanical Sensing and Monitoring by AFM and SICM", will cover how the scanning ion conductance microscopy (SICM), has overcome limitations in atomic force microscopy (AFM) and enabled noninvasive, nanocale investigation of live cells.

l  Presenter : Dr. Sang-Joon Cho

l  Presentation Subject : THE STUDY OF CELL TO CELL INTERACTION USING NANOMECHANICAL SENSING AND MONITORING BY AFM AND SICM

l  Presentation Date & Time : May 1st (Thu) 18:00 - 18:20

About NMC2014 :

The NMC 2014 will bring together leaders from both academia and companies to discuss innovative developments in this exciting field in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Speakers at NMC2014 are invited to contribute to the forthcoming Thematic Series of EPJ Techniques and Instrumentation on "Fundamentals of Nanomechanical Transduction". This thematic series closely matches the scope of NMC 2014, focusing on recent advances on the development of structures, devices and systems for nanomechanical transduction.
